While we excitedly await the arrival of our new addition (less than 4 weeks to go), we’ll share an update with the house!  As we’ve mentioned before, we love all the little details in our house, especially this built-in hutch in our dining room…

Before:

We had plenty of storage in the renovated kitchen for all our dishes, so we decided to turn the hutch into our wine bar!

Progress:

We painted the walls a light grey (which carries into the living room) and touched up the white trim.  Then we filled the cabinet with wine from our wedding gifts, wine glasses, and ta-da, a wine bar!

Another wedding gift was our tinker toy wine rack that fit perfectly in the cabinet.

So, that’s how far we’ve gotten to-date.  Next we need to add some hardware to the glass doors…

And change the hardware on the drawers…
