Although Avery’s sleep struggles make for a rough night, I can’t help but smile when I see this every morning…
And no, Avery isn’t sleeping with us. Sometimes he wakes up before I’m done getting ready in the morning, so he goes and cuddles with Daddy 
What’s your favorite thing about mornings? I love how happy and energetic Avery is first thing in the morning… I can’t help but smile and starting the day smiling is always good!
So sweet. I love waking up to a happy baby — wait, I’ll even take a cranky baby. My MIL offered to have Lili over for the night so Pedro and I could sleep without interruptions because we’re having sleep issues with Lili too (I have to read your entry on that), but I’m not ready for her to sleep out. I know everyone is different, but I love waking up to her face — ;o)
I totally understand…. Avery only slept away when we went to Costa Rica because I didn’t want to be taking him with us and we had to go to the wedding. What’s up with Lili’s sleeping? Avery has trouble falling asleep and wakes up around midnight every night and won’t stop crying unless he has a bottle.
Aw, that’s the best. A couple of months ago Annabel would do this too. Most mornings she would fall back asleep for a little bit with my husband, but those days are long gone now! She will not lie still for even a minute- has to be crawling all over the place and hates it when I leave the bed to get ready. Enjoy those sweet, cuddly and STILL moments while they last:)
Haha…. I know what you mean. Avery is rarely ever still. But maybe it’s because he doesn’t get to see his Daddy much (most night’s Vinay’s been working hard and getting home after Avery has fallen asleep). So, this 10 minute cuddle time in the morning is really special for them… and maybe that’s why Avery is so calm.
