Who: Avery Ratnam

What: A SUPERMAN themed 1st Birthday Party

Where: The Ratnam Residence

When: September 29th, 1PM

Food: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pasta Salad, Chips & Dip, Veggies & Dip, SUPER Cupcakes.  If you’d like to bring a dish to share, please let us know!

Games:  Bean bag toss & a pinata!

Gift Ideas: Not sure what to get for a One-Year-Old?  Here are some ideas…

• Attend the party!  Avery doesn’t need any gifts (although I’m sure he wouldn’t refuse them)  we’d much rather like to celebrate with you!
• Blocks – to build towers!  soft edges please!
• Nesting Toys – empty containers to stack with colors and patterns
• Feeding supplies – crash friendly plates, bowls, cups, spoons
• Shape Sorters – round peg into a square hole?
• Noisemaker Toys – instruments or a toy that sings/plays music
• Bath Toys – double as beach and pool toys!
• Savings – Avery has a college fund you can contribute to, or contact me for his SSN to give him a savings bond.
• Books – Animals, Shapes, Colors, etc. that encourage new words!
• Clothes – Avery is in size 12-18 month clothes.  Since he grows so fast, it’s safe to buy sizes 18-24.  He has big feet though, so socks need to be 24mo. size. Shoes size 4.

If you’re still clueless (shopping for a baby is intimidating!) just get him a box of tissues or tupperware, or a box!
